Does Hypomo have any investors?

Yes, our first investor was MKB Bank Hungary. This banking entity developed an accelerator program for startups in the fintech space. Hypomo emerged from it and received the financial backing of MKB Bank.

Who's behind Hypomo?

The founders of Hypomo, Mark Flores Martin and Monika Bereczova, got started with an investment from MKB Bank Hungary. Hypomo has grown rapidly in Slovakia; it is now operating in Poland; and will be launching in Austria and Hungary soon too.

Is Hypomo legit?

Hypomo is a financial agent by the National Bank of Slovakia. Our registration number is 231967, which you can double-check on the National Bank's official website.

Can Hypomo help me obtain a pre-approval certificate?

How does Hypomo work?

We will ask you to sign up, and based on your preferences and profile, our software will compare the offers and deals across 95% of all Slovak lenders and show you the most suitable ones. All in all, you can apply for a mortgage in under 10 minutes, from any device.

How is Hypomo different to other online mortgage websites?

Other online mortgage websites compare mortgage rates which are not personalised to your situation. Also, other sites do not enable you to apply directly for a mortgage online but instead asks for your phone number to arrange for a phone call where they will process your mortgage in the old offline way. This process typically takes up to two weeks.
